Colorado MicroWedding Locations!
I’ve personally traveled the state to find the best small wedding locations in Colorado. We have a variety of options ranging from mountaintops, to private venues, to valleys, breweries, and gardens. Being based on out Denver, we primarily work on the western side of Colorado, including: Denver, Estes Park, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Breckenridge.
Rocky Mountain National Park
The most popular elopement destination in Colorado is Rocky Mountain National Park, which offers a handful of different ceremony sites with a max group size of 30 people. I personally love RMNP, and the views are hard to beat, however, all of the options within the park are along public trails which can make privacy difficult. Additionally, the park does not allow chairs, or decorations.
Maroon Bells Amphitheater
The most iconic elopement destination in Colorado, the Maroon Bells Amphitheater offers dynamic mountain views and privacy for a small group to have a beautiful wedding. The biggest issue with this site is that it is very difficult to get a permit, with dates booking almost exactly one year in advance. Aspen is also an expensive area of the state, so groups may find both lodging and dining to be expensive.
Garden of the Gods
One of the most popular locations for micro-weddings and elopements in Colorado, Garden of the Gods offers incredibly unique red rock formations that make for really cool photos! This site is free to use, and very accessible, which is good and bad. The problem is, the location is generally swarmed with other groups. However, even with its popularity, it remains a beautiful and simple options for people looking for a free place to elope!
Chautauqua Park
Located just outside of Boulder, Colorado, Chautauqua Park offers stunning views of the famous flatiron mountains, and is a truly beautiful place to elope! The park is generally free to use (though there are limits on group size and may require a photography permit). This location, like all locations that are free and easy to find, tends to have a lot of people around during the day, but still remains a favorite spot for small weddings!
Rocky Mountain Wedding Park
This is actually a ceremony site that I lease from a local venue to offer small weddings in Estes Park the chance to have privacy, seating, and beautiful mountain views! This ceremony site is perfect for micro-weddings with up to 25 guests.

Working with Iver got me unbelievable rates with vendors that I failed to find doing my own research. I thought I could only afford a photographer, but I got a wedding coordinator, florist, hair & makeup, and photographer, all with better portfolios than the vendors I found, all for less than the cost I saw in my initial web search for a photographer!
